First Light Movies is the organisation that runs Film Street; it is also the UK Film Council's largest funder of young people's filmmaking allocating £700,000 of National Lottery money every year.

First Light Movies distributes funding through two main production funding schemes, the Pilot and Studio Awards and for those looking for support developing first ideas, 'Script'.
