Animate IT '09: To cut a long story short

Winners and runners up announced here!

Way back in October 2008, Film Street and Kudlian Software teamed up with CBBC’s Ed Petrie to invite children under
12, primary schools and after school groups from across the UK, to make animated trailers to promote their favourite books.

We received over 150 entries and you can now watch the winners, chosen by a panel of judges and Ed Petrie, here.

Well done to everyone that entered, and congratulations to the winners and runners up!

The most popular books

The amount of entries and the high quality showed us just how passionate about books you all are! This competition also gave us an idea about what you are reading....

'The Amazing Story of Aldolphus Tips' by Micheal Morpurgo was the book that we recieved the most trailers for. There were quite a few trailers for 'Cookie' and other books by Jacqueline Wilson.

Roald Dahl's books were also the subject of many of the trailers and there were lots for Francesca Simon's 'Horrid Henry' too!
